You know, I was reading something about midievalism. I don't know if it were true or not and it was probably written by one of those dope smoking drunks from the 60 counterculture movement with quasi-hillbilly roots that I often read... Actually, no... I think this was an English anarchist that plays the ukelele... but anyway... He was writing that it was once common practice for people to accept travelers as guests. Yep, you don't know these fuckers but you're going to let them in your house, feed them and let them stay the night at your crib. That was a social norm once. Wow. Of course, they had to worry about plagues killin' everyone off so maybe those good old days weren't so good. Thanks for the blog. I think this social disconnect on the minds of a lot of people right now actually.
